Make it unanimous. Tony is worth the 5 stars in all categories! He shot my friend's 70th birthday party at Fisher Island, and did an extraordinary job. His commitment was to deliver the pictures in 30 days, but he completed the job and hand delivered them himself in just a few days. And the work, as you can see from his site, is uniformly excellent. He is able to find and bring out the uniqueness and beauty in people. My friend had very specific ideas about how it should be done, and Tony cheerfully and quickly took the instructions and integrated them into what he was doing. He also was responsible for shooting a video of the event and supplied a top quality person to do that. All through the evening, as I observed Tony, he was present and very much focused on the people and capturing the moment. I never saw him sitting or relaxing. He was 100% there. And, as the time that we had contracted for came to an end, he came to say goodbye to me. And, I noticed that he was still shooting 20 minutes later. The level of service Tony Gajate provides and the artistic ability he possesses is like nothing I have ever encountered. He was always available to me any time I had a question or needed something, and was extremely kind and helpful. On our actual wedding day he made us feel comfortable and his presence never once felt invasive or too "in your face." The moments he manages to capture in his photos are INCREDIBLE. His portfolio speaks for itself. Adding to that, he delivered all 800 plus images well before the 30 days on the contract. I cannot think of words that would be adequate to describe how happy we are with Tony and his unique artistic ability to capture even the most mundane of moments and turn it into a work of art. We were so worried that our small, private beach wedding would not provide the opportunity for good photographs but boy were we wrong!!!! Tony's energy and creative talents turned our wedding into one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Never have I seen someone work so hard, non stop, to capture every moment of an event. He truly captured our moment and even deeper than that, he captured the love in our eyes for each other. To be able to capture emotion on film is truly a gift and Tony has this gift and more. If you can afford it- book him! He is pricey- but you get what you pay for... My pictures are beautiful and at the end of the day it is the only thing that I get to keep and cherish forever.

if a picture speaks a thousand words then Tony's speak a million... truly the most magnificent photographer out there and an absolute pleasure to work with. the fancy fondant cake gets eaten and the flowers in the centerpieces wilt...but your photos are yours forever. cut corners anywhere but here... Tony is worth his weight in gold... we actually joke that Tony is the "gift that keeps on giving" because even years after the stunning shots from the wedding he has continued to be our go-to guy for photos...in fact when our daughter was born he was one of our first phone calls...he never ceases to blow us away...

We had previously booked another photographer for our wedding but after seeing Tony's work I was convinced that I had made the wrong decision, gave up my deposit, and booked Tony the very next day. Our photos are our treasure and he exceeded our expectations. Our friends constantly tell us how our wedding photos are something out of a magazine and they wish they would have booked Tony also. My sister-in-law loved his work so much that she also used Tony back in NYa few years later. Tony also captured our little girl's first family portraits and we will continue using him so long as he's available. There is no other photographer for us.
