I purchased MissNowMrs from a Groupon and am glad I did not pay the full $30 for it. They make it sound like all you have to do it fill out some forms and your name change will be all complete. You still have to take time and go to the DMV. The form you print out will not be correct so you will have to fill out the DMV card to change your name on your license and registration. You also cannot just mail a notification to the bank they will need you to go in because they will need you to sign a new signature card. The administrator for your health insurance will need to contact them to make any changes to the plan such as name and address changes so a letter is not going to suffice there either. Basically you can write your own notification letters for doctors and credit cards and mail them out with copies of your marriage certificate. I live in New Jersey and there is no short cut for changing your name. Take a half a day off work and do it the old fashion way and do it right.

Not to expensive and totally worth every penny!
Before deciding to use this site I was so confused and overwhelmed by all that I had to do, but this took everything and squashed it.
It gives you a easy way to do it all and it doesn't take forever!

It was very easy to use this website to find all the forms that I needed to change my name. It is true that you pay almost $30 but it is worth it. You type all your personal info and then print and mail all the forms. It is so nice to see how you start receiving all your documents by mail and you dont have to visit any office.
The best part is that it actually gives you a checklist of documents you need to include in the mailing.
I am very happy I used this website.

While this website was helpful, I did not find it worth the money at all. I used it to fill out the first form to get a new social security card, but when I went to their office to file it, I found that I could have just filled it out there. All of the other name changes could either be done directly at the offices (for the ones that you have to do in person) or over the phone or via email. It was nice to have a check list of all the places that I needed to change my name, but you can find these lists online for free.

Eh... I would estimate this service saved me about an hour of time. I didn't have to hunt down certain forms online, and it did autofill a few of them with my info. Considering how busy I am, that was nice. Still, I had to do most of the work on my own. The credit card look up feature was useless, so I ended having to do all the research on my credits myself anyway.
I didn't have as complex of a name change process as some people might--I didn't move, so I didn't need to change my address on anything, and the car is in my husband's name so I didn't need to change any titles/registration. So, for other people, this service might help simplify those processes too, but still, it only saves you a small amount of time. I guess the question is how much you value your time, and whether the fee is worth saving an hour or two of your time.

Missnowmrs.com really does take a lot of the grief out of changing your name. This site gives you a plan, fills out all of the forms, and even gives you directions to local offices - along with checklists to make sure you bring the right documentation with you. The only thing worse than a trip to the DMV is having to make a second trip if you forgot something!! Easy site, great customer service, smooth process. Will recommend to all of my friends who choose to change their name!

After the craziness of planning a wedding, this site is a lifesaver!!! It definitely saved me time and frustration. Do not assume that it send the forms for you, because it doesn't. However, if you decide to purchase, it is very helpful in saving time and searching for the correct forms for all of the places you will need to contact to change your name. I love the service all I had to do was take about 30 min out of my day to fill out the forms then mail them off. Can say its a bit pricely but when you thiking about the gas price now days and you driving to all those place and sitting there its worth it. You will have to take 1-2 days off to do all this. Meaning if you have passport credit cards more than one bank account and rental property it worth it but it you don't then go with the cheaper one. Just look at which one you really need.

What a great website! MissNowMrs.com was the site I used to keep track of all my name changing documents. All I needed in one place. Totally worth the money! It helps you update all of your name change information very quickly and efficiently, plain but simple and easy to use. All I had to do was answer questions and they filled out the papers generating all the completed forms you need to notify those that you do business with of your new name. Then I had to print them and mail them.
