BRIDES BEWARE! Hmmm where to begin. It started out nice, a recommendation by my wedding planner in Key West. It all started because I wanted to drape the room where my reception was being held. Some nice white swag draping would really mask the ceiling of the room and walls, the place was much bigger than I needed so I wanted to warm it up. First of all no one is ever in the office which makes it very hard to plan from afar, and email takes some time apparently. My wedding planner gave me the owners direct number so I started talking with Steve. I explained what I wanted and he said swag draping is what I was looking for and he would go take a look at the space and get back to me with a quote, this took some time but I finally heard back. $800 for swag draping. I didn't know what "Swag" draping is and was told that it is the kind that forms a circle in the center of the room and then the pieces extend out to the perimeter. PERFECT I thought. Steve was so friendly I figured, you know I guess $800 isn't terrible (he assured me this was the cheapest I would find), so maybe I will get some nicer chairs for the reception and ceremony (2 different types). Then he said he could provide cheaper up lighting then my DJ so we threw that on as well. Steve sends me a contract then leaves the country. Time ticks away and I had some questions before signing an almost $2k contract. Chris (someone else that works there) started to contact me saying that it needs to be two separate contracts because the ceremony and reception are in different spots, but for the life of him he couldn't understand that one set of chairs was to go one place and the other set would obviously go to the reception (keep in mind that either Steve of Chris is the one that took my order and made the contract to begin with, they made it wrong). He sends me back two new contracts, after much delay and I look and see that $150 for 28 ceremony chairs now has a $250 delivery and set up fee ($400 total, for 28 chairs to be used for a 30 min ceremony) I pretty much just laughed and thought yeah right, I will just wait for Steve to get back. Steve finally returns. I explain how it would be idiotic for me to get the chairs if the delivery fee is more than the chairs, he knocked the fee down to $60 or something close. OK, then I will keep them. I try to send the contracts and the fax doesn't work. Ugh. I am a busy girl and don't have time for all this phone tag, it's starting to get down to the wire. Finally get the contracts faxed and they charge my card for the entire price, it would have been nice if I would have known that, I didn't read the tiny tiny print, I just focused on the 50/50 terms in bold on the front of the contract HA. Two days later I get an email from Chris. He tells me by email that my contract has been accepted and card charged...BUT FOR ONLY 1 CONTRACT! (The smaller one for just ceremony chairs) I emailed back immediately 5 minutes after he sent me that email and I say "Ummmm what about my other big contract, the important one?" Steve is not in the office, out of town again. Two days later I get an email from Chris saying that he received my signed contracts (which my card has already paid both in full), but they are too booked so they can not accommodate....WHAT! I already flippin' paid. I wait for Steve to return, we inch closer to the big day. Steve explains that both contracts are received, paid in full, and we are good to go. Apparently this company has no internal communication. OK, it was tough but I felt like everything was set. They were suppose to set up (like our contract states) on Nov. 17th. I go to my reception spot in the morning of my rehearsal dinner (Nov. 18) and the room has not even been touched. Nothing else can be set up until they get in there. UGH. My wedding planner calls says they will be there in the afternoon. I go to my rehearsal dinner and now have to return to the reception spot to finish setting up the room at 11pm the night before I am getting married. I walk in and could not believe my eyes. There are three pieces of white fabric strung through the ugly rafters the draping was suppose to be covering. Immediately I begin texting my planner and she lets me know that Steve is out of the county (OF COURSE HE IS!) and that Chris was never communicated what Steve and I discussed about the swag draping. Side note to brides: The last thing you want to do is stay up all night (the night before your wedding) worrying about the fact that your reception site looks like some kids went in with a half of a roll of toilet paper and threw it around.I decide to let it go, it is what it is, it will not ruin my day, my wedding planner will sort it out. We get married and I show up to the reception and the room is draped more appropriately but hardly what I wanted, was promised, and paid for. Turns out my planner had to bring in another vendor to throw up some fabric because Florida Keys Party Rentals flat out refused to come back and do what they were paid upfront to do. I am sure that the other vendor did their best and it definitely looked better but was hardly worth $800. I could have done it myself with a little extra time and a ladder. I am a big DIY girl very artistic and creative and it just ate away at me. I knew I should have just gone to Joanne fabric and bought a bunch of sheer white fabric....Hindsight is ALWAYS 20/20. Spare yourself time, money, and heartache and DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!. My wedding planner said she is done with them and I hope to warn Key West brides planning from afar who must trust that what your told will be delivered.FLORIDA KEYS PARTY RENTALS ALMOST RUINED MY WEDDING! I put a lot of thought into the look and feel of my reception spot, if you care about what you want DO NOT USE FLORIDA KEYS PARTY RENTALS. I have a who list of things I would call to this company, none appropriate for here, so dont hesitate to contact me if you would like to know a little more truth. The only good thing I can say is that Steve was friendly on the phone, but he is only available like once every 2 weeks, so good luck. I would have rather him be a real jerk if it meant his company would provide what I paid them for. If I had pictures available right now I would post them as proof. If I had the money and energy to sue these *%$# I would, because my amazing photographer who I spent a pretty penny on has all these photos of a room that did not look how it was suppose to look. Thanks Florida Keys Party Rentals! You really suck!

Great service...prices are a little high to me but I also know I am in the Keys so it was gonna be higher...but they were easy to work with and really helped on suggestions for us too! I would definitely reccommend them for any party needs! We got a tent, the leg drapes for the tent, dance floor, some globe lighting to hang from the tent, and table cloth overlays....everything was clean and neat looking...great presentation!

We ordered a tent and lighting, which all came together beautifully. They were also accomodating when we decided to go with a smaller tent and add lighting. We would recommend their services, as we did not have the problems identified by other reviewers.

Pricey, tent liner was dirty, dance floor was way too short and bumpy, the lanterns were chintzy/crooked/cheap looking; steve nor rick are there the day of for set up and didn't answer the phone during the set up for my wedding. Their sister company for linens (Linens in Paradise), is worthless - they order all of their linens from an on line company which you could do yourself - BBJLinens.com. Steve and Sheila (at Linens in Paradise) talk a lot of "fluff" and say they will do all that you want when in reality, they charge a lot and give you subpar service and subpar pieces. Definetly go with BBJLinens and NOT KWPR!

Very flexible, easy to work with and book our tent. The tent itself was beautiful. Opted for the peripheral lighting and the chandelier and the tent liner. Definitely glad we did!

The chairs and the wedding arch (white) were beautiful! They took care of the delivery to and from the location we set everything up. Fairly reasonably priced.

www.keywestpartyrentals.com This company is terrible to work with. Has terrible staff and almost ruined my friends wedding in the keys. They provided less than quality everything and were late on her wedding day... They also provided a crooked arch that they declard was the deluxe bamboo arch, which cant be set up straight in sand, but doesn't disclaim this when they take 200 for the rental of the arch! Such a ripp-off no one we know would recommend this place to anyone... you are better off getting married while your guests stand then renting anything from this company!Want proof just ask our friends...

Steve at Keys Party Rentals is great! He was very accomodating to us, had great ideas to offer if we asked for them, and did a phenomenal job with our reception set up! We rented the tent, tent liners, lighting, chargers, napkin rings, and dance floor from him and everything was perfect! They set everything up and broke everything down without us even having to worry about a thing! He also picked myself, my husband, and both of our mothers up and took us to his warehouse so we could see what he had to offer! This helped tremendously when it came to decision-making. Thanks again Steve!

Our wedding was on the Westin pier, and we had our hearts set on an outdoor wedding. All week long it rained so we decided to rent a tent. I contacted Steve on Wednesday afternoon regarding a tent for Friday. He made it happen quickly and smoothly. The tent was a little pricey but very beautiful. It was lined so no poles were visible. There were also 2 chandeliers on dimmer switches. It didn't feel like a tent at all. It put an elegant final touch to our reception. I wish I would have had more time to plan out all the tent details because they offer so many options with lighting, decor, etc.
